This group is staffed by volunteers from all parts of Wearside and from several church denominations.
Twice a month Streetcare provides a full three-course meal as a means of saying
"someone cares for you".
This meal is cooked and served in St. Gabriel's community hall. St. Gabriel's allow us the use of the kitchen and dining room, with Streetcare staff cooking and serving the meal.
Although we an remain independent organisation, along with several others, St. Gabriel's community outreach has taken Streetcare under its umbrella. This enables us to reach a wider range of clientele and new helpers.
